TO ALL ENROLLED STUDENTS DURING THE SPRING 2020 SEMESTER AT MOLLOY COLLEGE K/N/A MOLLOY UNIVERSITY WHO PAID TUITION AND/OR MANDATORY FEES BUT HAD THEIR CLASSES AND EDUCATIONAL SERVICES MOVED TO ONLINE ONLY LEARNING.
Maddison Booth has entered into an agreement with Molloy College. The agreement provides that all enrolled students during the Spring 2020 Semester at Molloy College who paid tuition and/or mandatory fees but had their classes and educational services moved to online only learning, may be eligible for monetary awards. The agreement provides for a Settlement Fund consisting of a New Cash Settlement Fund of $1,500,000.00 and Non-Cash Benefits. These Non-Cash Benefits provides access for all Class Members, for a period of one year after the Final Approval Order, to Molloy's campus-based career and academic services that request the use of same, so long as such facilities and services are operational and available to Molloy's students, and, for a period of two years after the Final Approval Order, a 30% tuition discount for Class Members who enroll in a Molloy graduate program, so long as such program is operational and available to Molloy's students Class members do not need to submit a claim to receive a Settlement Payment. However, Class Members may submit an Election Form to decide upon a reasonably convenient method for them to receive their settlement proceeds including but not limited to mailing of physical checks, Venmo payment, PayPal payment, etc.
If you wish to receive your payment in a method
other than a physical check, you must file an Election Form linked above. The deadline for filing this Election Form is August 5, 2023. If you do not file the election form, you will receive your settlement payment in the form of a physical check mailed to your last known address.
